One of the most effective ways to solve crimes is through the use of evidence captured on video surveillance. The Shavano Park Police Department now has a program where citizens and businesses can register their exterior facing surveillance cameras in an effort to assist us in solving crimes. This program does not and cannot provide active surveillance of your property. Participation in this program is completely voluntary and the Shavano Park Police Department will always get your consent to view the images or footage that you capture from your camera system.
