Fall 2024 Women Business Owners Roundtable (WBORT) Application

Women business owners in the transportation sector are cordially invited to apply for the Fall 2024 WTS International Women Business Owners Roundtable. The fall session is intended to welcome newer businesses into the WBORT and begin engaging with them. This select group will share successful experiences and best practices, and learn from others about starting and running a business in today's world.


The program will run concurrently with the Fall 2024 WTS International Signature Leadership Training in Arlington, VA. Sessions may cover topics such as ownership succession planning, fostering company culture, strategic planning, and navigating personal challenges unique to owning your own business.


Please complete this application by September 20, 2024 for consideration of attendance to the program.

Roundtable Applicant Criteria

Space in the 2024 Roundtable is limited to 20 qualified members. To be considered for the Fall 2024 WTS International Women Business Owners Roundtable, applicants must meet the following criteria:


  • Applicant is a woman business owner
  • Applicant has been in business for at least three years
  • Applicant has demonstrated a commitment to the WTS mission, vision, and DBE objectives
  • If you are a WTS International Pillar Corporate Partner, you are guaranteed a space at the 2024 WBORT


Chosen applicants will reflect a balanced level of participation in several categories, including but not limited to geographic balance, business size, modal focus, and business sector segment.


Participants from previous Roundtables are eligible to apply again for the October 2024 session. It is anticipated that a portion of this session's selected applicants will consist of previous participants, as well as new attendees.


Roundtable participants selected will have skills and experience to bring forward issues, concerns, and experiences that may enrich the continuity of the roundtable and enhance WTS International's mission and vision.
