WSHA is using the ASPR grant to purchase approximately 750,000 1870+ and 250,000 9205+ from 3M with lots of support from MultiCare and help from Medline as well. Because they are easier to manufacture and are made in the USA, 3M has indicated to us that these masks will be more available than the model 1860 going forward. We recognize that these may be new to some of you and require additional fit testing.
These are offered for free to members, but WSHA will prioritize members who are most in need: fewest days’ supply on hand as reported to WAHealth; and smaller hospitals with limited purchasing power.
We are setting up a 3-stage ordering process:
(1) report your request per month of each brand in the form below;
(2) we will take all requests and determine actual allocations based on supply and the criteria noted above; and
(3) we will notify you the actual amount you will receive by month.
