Request for Statement of Qualifications (RFSQ)

Questionnaire

The Regional Homelessness Authority (RHA) recognizes the Request for Proposal (RFP) process for competitive procurement may present a barrier for new service providers that must simultaneously demonstrate organizational capacity and program qualifications.

The RHA is excited to establish a Request for Statement of Qualifications (RFSQ) process to: (a), determine the capacity needs of agencies interested in partnering with us to provide homelessness services throughout King County; and (b), pre-certify agencies for future funding opportunities with the RHA.

This questionnaire is designed to determine the types and levels of technical assistance and training (“capacity building”) your organization may need. There are no predetermined answers nor will your responses disqualify your organization from participating in future funding processes. The RFSQ process gathers information in the following key areas:

  1. Agency Experience
  2. Racial Equity and Social Justice Policies & Practices
  3. Management Systems & Personnel
  4. Capacity Building Needs

There is no deadline for completing this questionnaire as we intend for the RFSQ to be an ongoing process for any organization interested in partnering with the RHA. If you have any questions or would like guidance as you complete this questionnaire, please contact Tony Machacha with the RHA's Community Capacity Unit at Tony.Machacha@kcrha.org.
