PLEASE NOTE:

  1. A separate application must be completed for each child requesting nonresident status.
  2. Families of nonresident students are responsible for providing transportation to/from school. Nonresident students will not be permitted to ride MSDLT buses to/from home/school.
  3. Seat(s) will be offered in your school of choice only if space/current capacity allows.
  4. If school of choice is unavailable, student may be offered an alternate selection.

Disciplinary Concerns

Are there any past disciplinary concerns of which we should be made aware? Please answer the following:

 

Enrollment of nonresident students and continued enrollment of nonresident students may be denied based on disciplinary issues. Per IC 20-26-11-32, MSDLT reserves the right to deny enrollment to any non-legal settlement student who has been expelled, suspended for more than ten (10) days, or suspended for any length of time within the previous twelve months for: a violation involving a firearm, deadly weapon, or destructive device; causing physical injury to a student, school employee, or visitor to the school; or for violating a school corporation's drug or alcohol rules. Students will not be admitted to the corporation while serving a suspension or expulsion from another school district. Has this student been suspended or (pending) expelled for ten (10) or more school days in the past twelve (12) months?

 

Has this student been expelled for firearms, destructive devices or weapons in the last twelve (12) months?

 

Has this student been suspended or expelled for causing physical injury to a student, school employee, or visitor to the school in the past twelve (12) months?

 

Has this student been suspended or expelled for a violation of the home school or previous school's drug or alcohol rules in the past twelve (12) months?

Nonresident students will not be permitted to ride MSDLT buses to/from home/school. 2. If any of the information has been falsified or omitted, the application is VOID. 3. A separate application MUST be completed for each student who seeks non-resident placement. 4. All school placements will be made by the District Administrator responsible for student assignments.
