What is a Grievance?
A reportable Grievance is a formal, written or verbal complaint made by a client or client’s family members, friends, providers or others known to the client that is not resolved easily and promptly by present frontline and/or direct staff in the course of daily operations. A reportable grievance can be an expression of dissatisfaction with any aspect of operations, regardless of whether remedial action is required. This MAY inlcuded (but not limited to): Facility - Service Environment, Services or Actions by Staff.
