PacNW Financial Aid Application
Pacific Northwest Soccer Club (PacNW) financial aid is funded from donations and direct fundraising by the club membership. PacNW has reserved a limited amount of funds that are available to those in need of financial assistance. All financial aid distributed by PacNW is on need based, any financial aid is at the sole discretion of PacNW. PacNW does not discriminate on the basis of team placement, race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age or disability.
Financial aid applications for High School boys who tryout in February must be completed by March 15th. Financial aid applications for all others must be completed by June 1st of each year. No late or incomplete financial aid applications will be accepted. Submission of the Financial Aid Request Form does not guarantee financial aid and/or that the requested amount will be awarded, payments are required by the 15th of the month. If payments are more than 60 days past due, a portion of the financial aid award is subject to revocation. Volunteer hours must be worked and failure to perform volunteer hours may jeopardize up to 25% of the financial aid award in addition to the monetary charge for the volunteer hour buyout. If financial aid is awarded it reduces monthly club fees, financial aid does not cover 100% of club fees. All scheduled payments must be made until notified that financial aid has been awarded. Team fees, travel expenses, club volunteer hours will be at the expense of the player. Scholarship players are expected to participate fully on the team (Practice, Tournaments, team events, unless prior arrangements have been made with your coach. Parents/players are encouraged to participate in fundraising events opportunities (refereeing, event food booths). High School boys Financial Aid recipients (those who tryout in February) will be notified by April 21st. All other recipients will be notified by July 15th.
Requirements to qualify for financial aid (all forms are required at the time of the application):
* copy of the completed IRS 1040 form (front and back) from the most recent tax year
* Proof of child’s qualification for school free or reduced lunch or government food assistance program if applicable.
* Player of PacNW U10 –U18 program (Financial Aid is not available for academy players)
* Qualify based on USDA household income guidelines for the current year (chart below) link:
