Students gain the practical experience and work-ready skills they need to thrive in industry.
Industry partners can benefit in a variety of ways, including:

- Building a talent pipeline who are familiar with workplace culture
- Injecting enthusiasm and new ideas

Opportunities are promoted on RMIT jobs notice board via Career Hub where we can specify any skill requirements.
For students to receive credit towards their studies, the following guidelines must be met -
- Full-time for 40-weeks, paid at the national minimum wage or relevant award
- Position descriptions to be submitted for academic approval
- Must be software-based e.g. not basic IT helpdesk roles
- A Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) Agreement must be signed before the internship begins
