WADE Training Scholarship Applicaton

One application per district.

Through the support of the Conservation Commission and proceeds from last year’s WADE auction, WADE is providing a limited number of scholarships for the upcoming WADE Training. These scholarships are for registration only (no mileage or other related travel expenses to/from Sleeping Lady).

Each District is eligible for up to $800 through the Conservation Commission scholarships and WADE funds. Any remaining funds will be awarded to districts that can demonstrate a financial need. Priority will be given to those applying districts that have not been able to send an employee to WADE training in the past two years due to lack of funding or who have staff that are presenting or otherwise assisting with the WADE training. A district may request scholarship money for more than one attendee (maximum request is $1,600 per District – two scholarships). However, priority will be given to ensuring that we are able to help as many individuals attend as possible.

Scholarship applications must be received by 4:30 pm on March 21st

If you have any questions please contact Dawn Bekenyi, WADE Treasurer dlb@whatcomcd.org

Applicants will be notified of status by March 25th.
