Community Ed Instructors:

  • Peninsula College Community Education offers courses taught by faculty and members of the community with expertise.
  • Instructors are not always required to have a formal education, but should be experts in their field.
  • Please use the form below to notify us that you are interested in teaching and attach a copy of your current resume. We will review your information and follow up with you to learn more!


Community Ed Courses:

  • Courses offered through Community Education are noncredit, short term, self-support classes with an emphasis on participatory learning.
  • Classes can meet online or in-person, days or evenings, during the week or weekends. Let us know when you're available and we will work with you to pick the best meeting logistics for your class.
  • Classes can range from one session workshops to ten session classes, one hour to a full day and everything in between!
  • If you are ready to propose a course, select that option in this form.
  • Email communityed@pencol.edu follow up materials including digital images of your work (when applicable), and marketing materials you might use to help promote your class.
  • We will review your course proposal and contact you with our determination. If your proposal is accepted, we will schedule an interview to discuss your class, prior teaching experience and Community Education policies.
