Intent to Participate
If you enrolled previously but withdrew/stopped participating, DO NOT fill out the Intent to Enroll form. Fill out this form https://forms.gle/15wXhqz3DS33gadA7 and you will receive an enrollment link.
Once submitted, your information will be reviewed, your license will be verified and you will receive notification of your eligibility to participate.
Micro-credential cohorts will launch at the beginning of each quarter (Jul, Oct, Jan, Apr). Each micro-credential takes 10-12 weeks to complete. If the micro-credential courses are successfully completed in succession, Level 2 licensure will be awarded in 1.25 years (5 quarters).
The Advancement Program for Level I-Level II offers flexibility. Educators can take the five micro-credentials consecutively. However, if there is a need to skip a quarter, educators can resume with the next micro-credential which needs to be completed. Payment will be spread out across the program. Educators do not need to pay for the cost of the entire program ($300) all at once; rather payment is collected for each micro-credential ($60) when registering.
The Advancement Program for Level I-Level II provides facilitators, who are educators and content area experts, to support educators as they participate in each micro-credential. Facilitators will provide timely feedback and guidance to Level I educators throughout the micro-credential and will score the mastery component.
The APLI-II program consists of five micro-credentials (Classroom Environment, Multi-Layered Systems of Support, Assessment Literacy, Culturally Linguistically Responsive Instruction, and Family Engagement).
Educators must receive a minimum score of 85% in each micro-credential.
One micro-credential takes approximately 20 or more hours to complete over 10 - 12 weeks. If the micro-credentials are taken in succession, the program will take 1.25 years to complete. All micro-credentials will be provided via the NMPED Canvas Learning Management System.
