2025 Lung Screening Day
On Saturday, November 8, 2025, please join the American Cancer Society National Lung Cancer Roundtable (ACS NLCRT), the American College of Radiology® (ACR®), the Radiology Health Equity Coalition (RHEC), the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and Go2 for Lung Cancer for the second annual National Lung Cancer Screening Day. Just as we have done since 2022, we are asking screening centers nationwide to open their doors on Saturday, November 8th to allow individuals who are unable to take time off from work to access screening. When you participate in National Lung Cancer Screening Day, you will extend screening opportunities and increase awareness of this lifesaving preventive screening option.
National Lung Cancer Screening Day has the support of The President’s Cancer Panel, which has charged screening centers, hospital systems, clinicians, public health professionals, cancer coalitions, and patient advocates to come together as a community to promote and communicate the value of lung cancer screening. Join our collaborative effort and encourage your screening center to open its doors or host an informative Lung Cancer Screening session on National Lung Cancer Screening Day, Saturday, November 8, 2025.
Rise above the stigma and celebrate those patients who are getting screened and inform those who are eligible.
