State of N.C. Employee GoPass Registration

This form is for employees of the State of N.C. to sign-up for a GoPass to use on public transit in Wake, Durham and Orange counties.


The GoPass Program is provided to state government employees by the N.C. Department of Transportation’s Integrated Mobility Division.

You must enter your employer-provided email address. If you enter any other email address, your GoPass may be canceled without warning. This email address should also be used when creating your Umo account. If you already have an Umo Account with a different email address or a phone number, you may need to create a new account.

These cards are not provided by NCDOT and must be purchased or obtained by the user before a Benefit Code can be added to the account. Cards can be purchased at the GoTriangle Regional Transit Center or by mail from GoTriangle.

Next Steps:

You will receive an email from "North Carolina Department of Transportation via Smartsheet" with the subject line "Welcome to GoPass" within 10 minutes of submitting your information. If you do not, please check your spam folder. The email contains your GoPass Benefit Code and instructions on how to add it to the Umo Mobile app or your Umo GoPass Card.
