Call for COR-NTD Research Links Sessions - 2023

The Secretariat of the Coalition for Operational Research on Neglected Tropical Diseases (COR-NTD) is pleased to announce the call for COR-NTD Research Links. This virtual series will include webinars, working meetings, research updates, etc., to share information about NTD operational research and related topics and will take place throughout the year.


To propose an event in the COR-NTD Research Links series, please fill out the form to the right. The COR-NTD Secretariat will review proposals on a rolling basis.

General Information for the Proposed Session

Please provide the title, subtitle, research question, background, aims, and prospective outputs for your session in the fields below. If desired, you may upload related publications or reports in the Supporting Documents field at the bottom of this form.

Timing for Proposed Session

Format for the Proposed Session

The COR-NTD Secretariat has access to the following software options, and will provide logistical support for selected sessions. ZOOM MEETING - Maximum Capacity: 300 participants - Allows for breakout rooms - Participants are able to mute/unmute microphones and turn cameras on/off ZOOM WEBINAR - No Maximum Capacity - Does NOT allow for breakout rooms - Participants are NOT able to mute/unmute microphones and turn cameras on/off Please indicate your preferred session format. Plan for the Proposed Session

Please indicate the general plan for your session here, following the example below. If you would like to use interactive tools such as EasyRetro (formerly FunRetro) or Zoom polls, please indicate them here. As a reminder, the maximum time for each session is 2.5 hours per day. To assist with the timing and flow of the session, speakers are encouraged to pre-record their talks. Please note that the no-show rate for free virtual events is typically between 30-50%. Therefore, you may expect that between 50-70% of the registrants you indicate below will attend the session. The maximum number of participants to attend any of the COR-NTD pre-meetings in 2020 was about 150. Please select the ideal number of registrants from the drop-down menu below.
