Submit Certification for SPOT Equivalency (SPEQ) Review

This is the first step in the SPOT Equivalency process.

Training is only accepted from the California Community colleges listed in the drop-down selections below. Training at these colleges has been reviewed and approved for the SPOT Equivalency program by the Distance Learning Committee.


If you have not completed training at an approved college, you completed Introduction to Asynchronous Teaching and Learning from @ONE, or you were looking for SPOT training, you should fill out the form for the SPOT certification process.


Submission Instructions: Complete the questions below and attach evidence of your DL training from an approved college. Once your evidence is validated, you will be contacted by the Assistant Distance Learning Coordinator using the email provided.

Please provide the following information about the college where you certified and provide evidence of training completion from the indicated college.

Accepted file types: Word documents (.doc, .docx, .rtf), pdf, jpg, png.

Attached evidence must include: Your Name, the name of the College, evidence of training completion.

Forms of evidence include a certificate, a badge, or another validated form of proof of completion. If the official evidence is in a web location, please copy the URL address and put that along with your name and the name of the college in a document that you attach.
