Currently, Comparative Medicine offers externships in the following: Laboratory Animal Medicine (LAM) and Comparative Pathology (Comp Path). Students are encouraged to select one option or the joint option based on their interests. If you select the joint track externship, please ensure your statement of interest explains why you are interested in both LAM and Comp Path.

Comparative Pathology (Comp Path): 2 Weeks

Laboratory Animal Medicine (LAM): 2 or 4 Weeks

Joint Comp Path and LAM: 4 Weeks (2 Weeks for Each Rotation)
