Expression of Interest


This is an open call for a new committee providing guidance and support to the Women in Sport Science Program and the LEAD program on behalf of SSC.


The two programs now alternate years, and the committee's focus will follow this schedule.


This is a volunteer role. It is an opportunity to participate on a multi-partner committee supporting mentorship and leadership programs at SSC.


The committee term is 2 years with option to re-apply when the term is up.


Regular engagement is expected:

  • Committee meetings ~3x per year
  • Selections are completed once per year
  • Survey feedback are reviewed 2x per year

HP sport in this context is defined by your work with Olympic, Paralympic or Next Gen athletes

If you are part-time in HP Sport, only include years of consistent and frequent work in HP sport.

For Senior and Leader calculations, parental leave can be included in your total.

We encourage workplan and goal collaboration with your organization.

 

Are you committed to attend meetings, to review content, and to complete participant selection scoring for the next 2 years?

For selections this year, you will need about 1/2 day to review applications between July 21 - Aug 3 (there may be slight variations to this)
