Project Team Log for Informal Neighborhoods (DOES NOT apply to active HOAs)

Informal neighborhoods within the City of Lacey must complete the attached Project Team Log and attach it with this application. You must have a minimum of five (5) individuals (non-family related) who live in your neighborhood and accept responsibility for completion of the proposed project.

Funding Sources

Proposals require a dollar-for-dollar neighborhood match for City funds awarded. Adult volunteer hours, in-kind donations, and purchases may meet the match requirements.

Award amounts will not exceed 50% of the toal project cost, up to a maximum award of $2,500.

Original receipts documenting financial contributions that meet or exceed the grant requested must be provided for reimbursement.

  1. Provide a detailed expense sheet showing your HOA/neighborhood contribution to the project match. Include the estimated value of volunteer hours (at a rate of $31.80/hr.), in-kind donations, and total purchases. Purchases should meet or exceed the amount of grant funding requested.
  2. Estimates or Project Bids. Please obtain contractor's estimates for work, if needed.
  3. Neighborhood Project Team Log (If applicable - only needed for informal Lacey neighborhoods)

Acknowledgement

If approved, the applicant shall enter into an agreement with the City of Lacey to ensure the completion of the project as described in this application. The agreement shall indicate that the applicant holds the City of Lacey harmless from any and all claims emerging out of the project and all related activities. By checking the box below, the applicant certifies that the information contained is true and complete and has been provided with the intention of obtaining financial assistance from the City of Lacey for the project as described.


This application and any attachments hereto may be considered records subject to public review.


Next Steps

A panel of City staff representing Communications, Community & Economic Development, and Parks Maintenance, will review the proposals to ensure compliance with City


A signed, written agreement with the City will be required before funds are awarded.
