As people continue to carry less cash, Contactless Donation Devices are an effective way of offering visitors to your church the opportunity to show their generosity and make a gift. Devices are an investment and it isn't always easy to know which one will work best for your church. The aim of the "Try before you buy" loan scheme is to:

• Allow churches to test a fully integrated contactless donation device, gaining insight into:
• Income
• Frequency of use
• Aesthetics
• Connectivity (Devices are fitted with Multi Network SIM cards and WIFI enabled)
• Use the income from their loan period to fund a device of their own
• Loan a device for a specific event, benefiting those whose general use wouldn't justify the expenditure for a permanent device
• Provide full training and support in setting up the device and required accounts

In order to continue making this scheme available to parishes we ask for a small contribution in return for use of the device. This helps to cover the cost of connectivity, as well as potential wear and tear. Your Church will be invoiced once the device has been returned with payment due within 30 days.

• £5 for the first week (including one off special occasions)
• £2.50 for each week thereafter

Unfortunately, we can't guarantee a device will be available for your chosen dates, but we will do our best to facilitate your request. Once received, we will be in touch to arrange your loan period, offer further support and complete the necessary administration.

You'll be invited to attend a 1 hour training and collection session at the diocesan offices (190 Corporation Street). You'll also be asked to return the device to the diocesan offices (in person) at the end of the loan period unless otherwise arranged.
