If you are unable to attend online or in person you can use this form to indicate this and complete a Form of Proxy


Questions for the Board should be submitted in advance using this form.


Joining details will be sent out by the date indicated above using the email address that you provide on the form.


Data collected through this form will be held in accordance with the British Fencing Privacy Policy that can be found here: https://www.britishfencing.com/policy-zone/gdpr-data-protection/ and will not be shared with any other organisation.


The personal data you have provided in this form will be used by BF for the following purposes:

To check that you are a valid member of British Fencing.

To contact you in relation to the information provided on this form.

To contact you in relation to your participation in the AGM.


BF will store and retain the personal data you have provided in this form as follows: Event interest/registrations will be retained for up to two years (a maximum of 24 months) at which point the data will be anonymised and all personal data deleted.

This will be used along with your name and email address to confirm your eligibility to attend and/or vote.

Please note that voting members must be 18 or over and hold a valid Starter, Recreational or Compete Membership.

Voting for online attendees will take place during the meeting using Zoom polls. If you are unable to attend you can complete a Form of Proxy to allow another member to speak and vote on your behalf. Select 'No - I wish to complete a Form of Proxy'

If you have any specific questions you would like to raise please let us know in advance. This helps us to plan and prepare for the meeting. Depending on the subject matter, you will get the opportunity to speak, either as part of the Formal meeting or as part of the FAQ session.


Form of Proxy

THIS IS A FORM OF PROXY for the ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING of British Fencing Association Limited to be held at 11am on Saturday 19th October 2024.


To be valid, this Form of Proxy must be completed and submitted online to be received as soon as possible and in any event not later than 48 hours before the time appointed for holding the meeting, being not later than 11am on 17th October 2024.


Submission will be automatically confirmed via email using the email address provided on this form. Please check your junk and spam settings.

You can appoint any member (including the BF CEO) eligible to vote to act as your Proxy. They will need to attend the meeting and should register separately to be sent the link.

To receive the annual accounts for the financial year ending 31 March 2024.
