2026 2L Summer Associate Application

We rely heavily on our Summer Associate Program to identify and acquire top talent within Adams & Reese. The firm is selective in making offers, with the intention to hire future associates that develop into future partners.

Each year, our offices host six-week Summer Associate Programs (first-half), which include first and second-year law students. Year round, we work closely with career services counselors and administration from accredited law schools to network with and be a welcomed resource to their students. We participate in Spring and Fall on-campus interviews, and host a resume collect for interested candidates outside of our OCI scope.

Upon completion of your six-week clerkship with us, you will have a strong understanding of what it’s like to be a lawyer at Adams & Reese and you will know how your values align with the values of our firm. Likewise, we will know the same. Associate offers are typically made shortly following the end of each program, giving you ample time to decide on your future career path.

Applicants will be considered as early as mid-June (after release of second semester grades) and throughout August.

Those law students applying to Adams & Reese via on-campus interviews need not apply online.
