Your Football

If you live in Cambridge and are aged 16 or under, and still play on a Saturday morning's, your refereeing opportunities will be extremely limited due to all U15's and below playing on Saturday mornings. There are no youth fixtures below U15's played on a Sunday, without travelling either to Peterborough or to the Royston Crow. To discuss further, please email referees@cambridgeshirefa.com

I understand that as a young referee, who plays on a Saturday morning, this will extremely limit my refereeing opportunities, due to all age groups they are eligible to referee kicking off at a similar time, all on Saturday mornings. The only football played with appointments, in Cambridge, take place on Sunday’s are from U17’s and above and that this can be circumnavigated by officiating on the Royston Crow League (teams in Melbourn, Saffron Walden, Bassingbourn) or Peterborough Junior Alliance, which have opportunities to referee on a Sunday and I am prepared to travel to these locations.
