Pierce County Emergency Management can provide or arrange speakers on personal preparedness and neighborhood preparedness topics. Please review the selections and choose which best meets the needs of your community, neighborhood, work place or school. Select the topic(s) of interest and fill out the rest of the form. Learn about making a plan and building a kit, this presentation is for community groups, clubs, staff or government staff. Included is information about hazards in Pierce County and risks to residents. Getting prepared for disasters and emergencies is a lot easier than we think! Everyone can do something to get prepared that doesn’t have to cost a lot of money or take a lot of time. This presentation is typically one hour in length. Check box to select

Learn about personal preparedness, difference between an emergency and disaster. Discuss working with neighbors so to not be alone when disaster strikes. Fire and Police will be limited to get to all communities in Pierce County after a serious disaster, you and your neighbors will be the first responders in your neighborhood.
