Sport Scientist Canada Discipline Lead – Nutrition

This performance dietitian leadership role will be responsible for the discipline of Nutrition and the community of practice of Dietitians that work with high performance sport in Canada. This role will be responsible for the leadership of the discipline along with driving communication and knowledge dissemination.


This role is intended for individuals with leadership experience. This role is managed by the Sport Scientist Canada Leadership Team.


Term: 2 years, part-time, flexible hours with the expectation of attendance at identified activities


Eligibility:

  1. Be of good standing with the relevant certification body.
  2. Hold a Sport Scientist Canada Membership (Professional or HP Certified).
  3. Possess a minimum of 3 years working at 0.5 FTE or more with a national sport organization or for a Canadian Sport Institute/Centre or multisport organization in a high performance environment as a practitioner with Olympic and/or Paralympic programs.


Renumeration: $11,500 (with an additional expected $11,500 VIK contribution)


Selection: Applications will be reviewed by the Sport Scientist Canada Leadership Team and the successful candidate notified by May 31st 2025
