Priority Registration Request for Parent Students

Under Texas S.B. 459 which took effect September 1, 2023 institutions providing early registration for any student populations shall provide early registration for parenting students in the same manner. A parenting student is defined under Texas Education Code 51.983 as a student enrolled at an institution of higher education who is the parent or legal guardian of a child under 18 years of age.

Undergraduate and graduate students may self-certify by completing the form below. To be considered for Priority Registration for Summer and Fall 2025, students must self-certify by 5 pm on Thursday, March 27, 2025.
