Applying as a community garden? Your group needs to identify a sponsor organization prior to filling out this form. Sponsor organizations are often a neighborhood organization or other 501(c)(3) non-profit. The role of the sponsor organization is to sign the lease with the City and often support insurance fees. Find your neighborhood organization at https://nrp.org/R2/index.html

Our overall goal is to ensure equitable distribution of lots. In the event of multiple requests for the same property, preference will be given to:

  • Community gardens
  • Garden groups who live close by
  • Those willing to share a lot with another group
  • Those who have no access to other growing space

Please note that lots can be sold at any time for development. If sold, gardeners will keep their lease through the end of the current growing season.

The list of available lots is in the drop down menu below. Please review and select the lot you wish to apply for.

The map is currently not up to date in regards to lot availability. However, for information on lot size, soil test results, and category visit the map at: http://tinyurl.com/GLP-Map
