CARLI Duplicate Title Reduction: Open Access & Free E-Collections

CARLI is working toward reducing title duplication in Alma and improving efficiencies in managing electronic collections of free and open access resources. When an electronic collection is active in both an institution zone (IZ) and the CARLI network zone (NZ), the IZ collection should be deactivated in favor of the shared NZ collection. In the Box shared files, please see the report entitled, "XXX_Free_OA_IZ_ECollections_to_Delete" (where XXX is your institution's CARLI 3-letter code). This report lists the current set of free and open e-resource collections that are active in both your institution's Alma IZ and the CARLI network zone. These are the collections you should deactivate in your IZ. Please reply to indicate if your institution staff will perform this clean-up work by October 8, 2021, or if CARLI should do this work on your behalf.
