August 2024 CT HCC Member-at-Large Nominations

 

All Coalition Members can nominate a peer to fill the four open Member-at-Large positions for the Connecticut Health Care Coalition (CT HCC). Self-nominations are also permitted. You can nominate up to five people with one submission of this form. To nominate more than five people, you can fill out this form multiple times.


Nominations for the August 2024 Member-at-Large Elections will be open Wednesday, July 31, 2024 - Friday, August 9, 2024. Please cast your nominations during this timeframe. Nominees will be screened for eligibility and notified, and then will have one week to accept or decline their nomination. Nominees that accept their nomination will be placed on an electronic ballot and coalition members will vote.

Eligibility

To be eligible to serve in an Executive Committee role, the individual coalition member must:


  • Be part of an active member organization in the coalition for at least one year.
  • Actively serve in a professional capacity at a member organization in the coalition.
  • Provide representation at CT HCC meetings.
  • Vote on coalition budget decisions.
  • In addition, a member organization may fill no more than one Executive Committee position.



Ineligible Parties


The Executive Committee includes the following positions that serve in an advisory/situational awareness position and have no voting privileges in the Executive Committee:


  • CT HCC Staff Members
  • CT HCC Clinical Advisor(s)
  • CT DPH Public Health Public Health Preparedness and Response Section Representative(s) or Designee(s)
  • Connecticut Hospital Association Representative(s)


Individuals in these positions cannot be nominated for the role of Member-at-Large.

 

 

Duties

The Member at Large duties shall be to:


  • Serve in the position for a two-year term.
  • Provide situational awareness and information sharing with the CT HCC.
  • Serve on Executive Committee meetings.
  • Provide guidance and subject matter expertise in decisions regarding CT HCC priorities and objectives.
  • Attend Executive Committee meetings and provide input to coalition budget, work plan and special projects.
  • Participate in at least one coalition work group per fiscal year.
