Appeals Submission

This form should be used to submit an appeal against a decision of a competition [LEAGUE, DISTRICT FA, and COUNTY CUP COMPETITIONS]. Any other complaint should be submitted using the COMPLAINTS Form.


Please note - An appeal is not a re-hearing of the case. Any new evidence, which was not supplied when the original decision was made, must be accompanied by a written reason why this evidence was not made available to the competition provider from the outset.


An Appeals Board comprising of 3 independent members will hear your appeals. All appeals will be heard on correspondence only.

This should be the body that issued the decision that you are appealing against

A charge notification is when the league/competition informs you of an alleged breach of rules and provides you with an opportunity to respond.

After reviewing all the evidence, including your response to the charge, the league/competition should inform you in writing of their decision.

The appeal must be lodged within 14 days of the date of notification of the decision appealed against.

Informing other parties

The Standard Code of Rules (SCOR/SCORY) states that you must send a copy of your appeal to the Secretary of the Competition. Your appeal will be dismissed if you have not met this prerequisite.


Your Appeal

Please provide any documents that you wish for the Appeals Board to consider. Where available, this should include:


  1. Copy of the Original Charge Notification
  2. Copy of the written notification of the decision of the Management Committee
  3. Copy of any correspondence you sent to or received from, the Management Committee in response to the charge or decision notification
