Consent to Sensitive Exams Policy Reporting Tool

The University of Minnesota Medical School (UMMS) takes patient consent, and the empowerment of our students seriously. This tool provides an ANONYMOUS mechanism to report any alleged violations of the Sensitive Exams Under Anesthesia policy.

The information we receive will focus our efforts to educate faculty, residents, and staff at our partnering clinical sites about the expectations for patient consent, and protecting student's and patient's rights.

Thank you for providing this feedback!

A Note about Non-Retaliation: In order to protect the rights and freedoms of students who submit allegations of sensitive exams under anesthesia policy violations and to ensure the integrity of the process, the UMMS strongly enforces the University's non-retaliation policy. No student shall experience retaliation for statements or information shared as part of an allegation of duty hours violations, whether from faculty, staff, or other members of the community. Students may report suspected retaliation to the Assistant Dean of Curriculum. Reports of suspected retaliation will be promptly reviewed and investigated. Violations may result in appropriate administrative action up to and including rescinding faculty status, removal of clinical supervisory roles, and notification to the Department Head for department-level actions.
