MEC Event Hosting



Thank you for your interest in hosting your meeting or event in the Multicultural Engagement Center. We are located in the WCP Student Activity Center Rm 1.102.

Please fill out this request with as much info as possible.

We recommend placing multiple dates in order of priority in the event that the space is not available. Reservations will be reviewed on a monthly basis to give priority to MEC agency events.


If your request is for after normal operating hours (8AM-5PM), prior to submitting this form, you must first confirm that a current MEC leader can be present as a host to monitor the event.


After you submit this form, the request will be reviewed by an MEC staff member. You will receive an email response from an MEC staff regarding a confirmation.

  1. This is a request to reserve space in the MEC. This is not a confirmation. An email will be sent to confirm space reservation. For events after normal business hours, an MEC student staff or student leader must be available and present to host the meeting/event.
  2. All equipment and furniture must stay inside the MEC.
  3. If you need to move furniture, please place everything back where it belongs after your meeting/event.
  4. Wipe down and clean all tables.
  5. Take home all food or throw away after your event.
  6. Clean and return dishes or kitchen items. Take personal dishes home after use.
