Design Review Subcommittee request

Please complete this form to request to meet with the Historic Landmark Commission (HLC) Design Review Subcommittee regarding your historic property project. The purpose of the subcommittee is to assist applicants with the design of their projects prior to application submittal. Design Review Meetings give applicants the opportunity to meet with staff and members of the HLC to ensure that projects meet the requirements found in Chapter 66 Historic Preservation.

Meetings are held on the last Tuesday of every month from 3-5pm and are held at City Hall. Applicants are typically given 30-60 minutes to meet with the subcommittee depending on the number of applicants scheduled.

Is your property historically designated? You can search your address on our Planning Map or contact Katie Totman to confirm at ktotman@newbraunfels.gov or (830) 221-4086.
