The United States Agency for International Development's (USAID) Trade, Investment and Finance Activity (TIFA), is a five-year project that aims to increase trade, exports, and GDP and position the Palestinian economy in the West Bank and Gaza for growth. The Activity utilizes data analysis, the facilitation of proactive dialogue, and advocacy promotion to address impediments to trade, investment, and finance. Its primary focus areas include expanding markets for Palestinian products, ensuring compliance with international standards, and supporting policy reforms. TIFA aims to attract both local and foreign direct investments to the West Bank and Gaza, and will seek cost-effective ways to enhance access to finance and financial services, ultimately contributing to achieving financial inclusion. Through strategic partnerships, this initiative envisions a lasting impact on the economic landscape, fostering connections between the West Bank and Gaza and the global community for mutual benefit.
