Pig Farm Virtual

Field Trip

Hang out with us as we get up close with pigs!

Join us to learn about how farmers provide for pigs by meeting their basic needs of air, space, food, water, and shelter. This virtual field trip will take place from inside a pig barn and feature a farmer who will share his experience raising pigs! Students will be able to ask questions and receive answers in real time with a Question-and-Answer session. All you need is the Zoom app, a connection to the internet, and a webcam.

The Virtual Field Trip will take place on:

Tuesday December 13 at 1pm (CST)

Grade: 3rd

Location: Farmer Jason's pig farm near Laurel, Nebraska

Nebraska Science Standard Connection: Animal Habitats

The Virtual Field Trip will last approximately 30 minutes and is limited to 10 classrooms.
