The Oregon Early Learning Division and the Oregon Department of Human Services will be holding a joint Rulemaking Advisory Committee for the transfer of Employment Related Day Care (ERDC) rules to the Department of Early Learning and Care (DELC)
WHAT IS A RULES ADVISORY COMMITTEE (RAC)?
A RAC is a group of people affected by a program or policy changes who come together to advise the ELD/DELC on how to design the program.
For the ERDC RAC, we are seeking a diverse* group of individuals interacting in the program, such as:

- Representatives from culturally specific, community-based organizations
- Early Learning Hub representatives
- Child Care Resource & Referral representatives
- Tribal Nations representatives
* Diversity of voice includes, but is not limited to, race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, geographic location, and English language proficiency. Those chosen to participate in this RAC will be individuals who are able to represent a broad perspective of various communities served.
WHEN AND WHERE WILL THE RAC MEETINGS BE?
There will be three virtual meetings held in March:
- 9 a.m. March 9: ODHS rules
- 4 p.m. March 16: DELC rules
- 4 p.m. March 23: Follow up and questions
Participants will be reimbursed for time dedicated to this RAC at the rate of $50 per meeting. Sign up here to be a committee member on the Rules Advisory Committee.
