The Madison Brookshire Memorial Scholarship Fund was established to honor the memory of student, Maddie Brookshire ’24. Always a Patriot at heart, Maddie was excited to follow in her mother’s footsteps by attending The John Carroll School. She loved every minute she had as a John Carroll student, approaching each day with enthusiasm for learning, sharing her warm disposition with teachers and classmates, and making new friends. A thoughtful, kind, giving and ambitious young woman, Maddie embodied what it means to be a Patriot. Maddie had big dreams with detailed plans for college and a future career as an orthodontist. To honor her memory, the Madison Brookshire Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to a Freshman student with his/her own plans to pursue a career in the health sciences. This scholarship is applied toward 2024–2025 tuition for the awarded student.

The winners will be chosen by the Madison Brookshire Scholarship Committee, together with the Advancement Office, based on the merits of the essays. The John Carroll Advancement Office will notify winners in writing. The awards will be presented by the Brookshire family.
