2025 Board Nomination Form
Dear INSNA Member,
We have one vacancy on the INSNA Board of Directors that needs to be filled. This position is a three-year term that will begin on January 1, 2025. We are seeking nominations for candidates to fill the position. You are welcome to nominate yourself and/or others. You may also nominate more than one person (just visit the form multiple times). The nomination period begins now and will close on September 12, 2024. Elections will be held by electronic voting during the month of October 2024.
The INSNA Board is the governing body of the Association. It directs the affairs of the Association, its committees and publications; determines its policies; and supervises disbursement of funds. INSNA Board members are expected to attend all INSNA Board meetings, to serve on committees, and to advise on the affairs of the association.
INSNA considers the inclusion of diverse talent and learning from a diversity of perspectives an important basis for its success. We therefore encourage nominations of a diverse pool of candidates across multiple dimensions, including academic discipline, country of residence, and demographics, including race and gender.
Qualifications for Board Members: Any INSNA Member whose membership is current, and is in good standing for at least three years, is eligible for nomination and election to any elective office. In addition, it is expected that a nominee has demonstrated commitment to the goals and activities of INSNA, for example: through past service on INSNA committees (e.g., awards committees, policies and procedures committee, communications committee), in editorial roles on INSNA-affiliated publications, or in conference organization.
