ADDITIONAL GUIDELINES AND INFORMATION:

  • The range of possible grants is $500 to $3,500, and the AIHA Board wishes to fund as many projects as funding allows and with cost-effective projects. Awards will be made based on available funding.
  • Funds will be disbursed during the calendar year in which the activities are to be conducted. Projects should be designed on a 12-month cycle and completed within this time (which may not match up against a calendar year timeframe). For some projects, activities may carry over from one year to the next (within the 12-month timeframe) with an explanation of the reasons.
  • Grant recipients are required to provide quarterly updates on how the funds are being or have been spent. The more comprehensive and informative the reports are will improve likelihood of receiving funding on future projects. Reports should include descriptions of events or research conducted with results and outcomes. Photos of activities, conferences, or training events would also be helpful. Failure to report on activities in a timely manner may affect the recipient’s ability to be considered for future funding.
