USAID Infaux: Advancing Information Integrity and Resilience in the Sahel

Chemonics International, an international development consultancy firm, is seeking qualified Chief of Party (COP) candidates for an anticipated project that will strengthen information integrity and resilience across the Sahel. This planned activity will focus on strengthening local information systems, strengthening regional information systems, and mitigating the transmission of false information from open, online sources, offline vectors or closed, online channels. This activity aims to provide technical assistance to authorities and leaders to better understand, monitor and counter misinformation in the sub-region. This will include working with local and regional organizations active in this field and supporting efforts to create networks of such organizations across the region.

The COP will be responsible for the overall management and implementation of the project. They will supervise project implementation and ensure the project meets stated goals and reporting requirements. The COP will ensure an integrated vision across different objectives, actors, and partners of the project with a focus on achieving results. They will manage the quality and accuracy of project deliverables and oversee programmatic direction. The COP will oversee project leadership, including supervising lead technical and operational staff.
