Conformément aux directives du ministère de l'Éducation de l'Ontario, une vérification du statut de résidence et de citoyenneté au Canada sera effectuée pour les élèves hors du CECCE. Les élèves seront invités dans le formulaire à télécharger leurs documents justificatifs - OU - à participer à une rencontre virtuelle avec un administrateur du PLIA (via Google Meet) afin de présenter les documents d'appui.


**Vos documents resteront confidentiels et ne seront pas placés dans le dossier de votre enfant. Veuillez noter qu'une fois la confirmation de l'éligibilité établie, les documents ne seront pas conservés...

𝟮. Preuve de fréquentation d'une école canadienne sans payer de frais de scolarité -


(a) Pour les citoyens canadiens / résidents permanents - passeport canadien ou carte de résidence permanente; OU


(b) Pour ceux n’ayant pas la citoyenneté canadienne / la résidence permanente - permis de fréquentation d'école provenant de l'école de jour, permis de travail, permis d'études, visa de visiteur, etc.

As per the Ontario Ministry of Education guidelines, a verification of residence and citizenship status in Canada will be conducted for all non-CECCE students. Students will be prompted in the form to upload their supporting documentation - OR - they can request to meet virtually with an IILP administrator to present documentation remotely.


**Your documents will be kept confidential and will not be placed in your child's file. Please note that once confirmation of eligibility has been established, the documents will not be retained..


𝟭.Proof of address - Agreement of Purchase and Sale, Utility Bill, Property Tax, Home phone/Cable/Internet Bill, Bank/Credit Card Statement (Note: Driver’s License, health cards and cell phone bills are not accepted); AND


𝟮. Proof to attend school in Canada without paying tuition fees - (a) For Canadian citizens/permanent residents - Canadian passport or permanent residence card/letter; OR

(b) For those without Canadian citizenship/permanent residence - permit to study from day school, parent work permit or study permit, visitor visa, etc.

Si vous avez obtenu un crédit de langue ontarienne dans un conseil scolaire AUTRE que le Conseil des écoles catholiques du Centre-Est (CECCE), veuillez soumettre une preuve de crédit (ancien relevé de notes ou bulletin scolaire) afin que le PLIA puisse l'examiner et déterminer si le crédit peut être reconnu comme un préalable de l'Ontario. Le PLIA n'a pas accès à l'information sur les crédits obtenus en dehors du CECCE. Si vous avez obtenu votre crédit avec le Conseil des écoles catholiques du Centre-Est (CECCE), il n'est pas nécessaire de fournir une preuve puisque le crédit est déjà dans le système.

If you completed an Ontario language credit at a school board OTHER than the French Catholic school board (CECCE), please submit a proof of credit (past language transcript or report card) in order for the IILP to review and determine if the credit can be recognized as an Ontario prerequisite. The IILP does not have access to credit information completed outside of the CECCE. If you completed your credit WITH the French Catholic school board (CECCE), there is no need of proof as the credit is already in the system.

Le ministère de l'Éducation de l'Ontario exige que les conseils scolaires perçoivent des frais de scolarité auprès des élèves qui ne sont pas admissibles à un financement dans les écoles publiques. The Ontario Ministry of Education requires school boards to collect tuition fees from students who are not eligible for funding in public schools. This includes students registered for the International and Indigenous Languages Program (IILP) high school credit courses. In order to determine if the student is exempt from these tuition fees for the credit courses, the International and Indigenous Languages Program (IILP) may ask for supporting documentation to attest to your status in Canada and verify the student's eligibility to participate in the IILP at no cost.
