Though very rare, it is possible that your samples could be lost due to instrument malfunction or human error. Please take precautions with precious/irreplaceable samples

Drop-off Instructions

TIMING for Single Cell Capture is CRITICAL to the success of your experiment and our schedule. We need you to provide a time that you will be delivering the cell/nuclei suspension to our facility. Preferably your delivery time will be between 10am to 2pm Monday through Thursday (Friday 10am -1pm). You may deliver cells/nuclei 30 minutes prior to this scheduled time or up to 1 hour after the scheduled time. Do not arrive after the 1 hour window as we WILL NOT capture your cells.

IMPORTANT DISCLOSURE: Customer should count cells after sorting via Hemocytometer and submit to core facility at appropriate concentration of 700-1100 cells/ul. Please follow 10X Genomics guidelines that were provided to you during the consultation meeting. The Genomics Core Facility cannot take responsibility for counting and diluting your cells. The 10X Chromium captures approximately 50-60% of input cells. Miscounting cells leads to inaccurate target cell number capture that directly affects sequencing. This error has the potential to render the data useless and it may not be recoverable if too many cells are captured.*

If there is a wetting failure, I agree the remaining sample will be used to repeat the capture.

Signature of this form acknowledges that the PI and Technician/Student/Post-Doc have agreed to all sample submission, quality, quantity, project scheduling, and researcher financial responsibility requirements. Signature of this form authorizes the CU Genomics and Microarray Core to order all consumables necessary for the researcher’s sequencing project and confirms that the PI is financially responsible for items ordered for their project and all labor cost associated with the project.

Data Sample and Retrieval

All data from sequencing run will be deleted from our servers 31 days after you receive notification that your data is ready to be downloaded from our server via email.

Please pick up constructed libraries no later than 60 days after data has been downloaded from our server. If you do not pick up your libraries they will be destroyed.
