Welcome to the Flourish Technical & Trade Scholarship Application

We are excited to learn more about you and see if you are a good fit for our program! While we are looking for people who are passionate, results driven, and eager to learn, we have a few requirements that need to be met in order to be eligible:


  • Currently pursuing a Trade/Technical/Certificate Program within 50-miles of Boone County
  • Between the ages of 18-24 years old at the time of applying
  • U.S. citizen by date of award
  • We ask that they meet one or more of the following:
  • Experiencing education or career barriers
  • First-generation college student

  • We strongly encourage that you complete your FAFSA prior to completing this form.
  • Your 2025-2026 FAFSA Student Aid Index (SAI) or Student Aid Estimator is needed for this application. If you have not completed the FAFSA, you can use the Student Aid Estimator Tool to calculate your SAI.

It's time to talk dollars! For this portion, you will need access to your 2025-2026 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Scholarships range from $500-$2,500 and will be paid directly towards your institution. Please use the space below to explain your reason to request this amount in 150 words or less. This can include your needs and associated costs, barriers you face/encountered in continuing education, etc.

Scholarship Expectations

You're almost done! Please review the scholarship expectations below and check the box acknowledging that you agree to meet them.


• Maintain a 2.5 GPA or equivalent satisfactory status in programs

without GPA

• Sign media release and enrollment release form

• Provide school or program’s financial aid/bursar/cashier’s office for

the scholarship to be applied directly to tuition or program cost

• Respond to scholarship staff communication in a timely manner

• Understand that the scholarship will not cover prior student loan balance or outstanding balance. The scholarship will not be paid toward prior student loan balances.

• If selected as a recipient, proof of enrollment must be sent prior to payment being sent to the program/institution.
