2025 Taco Fest Food Vendor Application

   Savory Vendor Non-Refundable Fee: $350

(Savory menu should ONLY be TACOS and additional sides)


    Dessert Only Vendor Non-Refundable Fee: $200

(CLOSED - no longer accept any dessert vendors)


Cleaning Deposit: $200


Soft Drinks/Water Fee: $150


Vendor location will be assigned based on the vendor’s sign-up date. The earlier the sign-up, the better the location.


Please sign up no later than Friday, April 4, 2025.


All vendors must be set up and prepared to serve by 11:30 AM the day of and we cannot guarantee placement if you do not arrive on time.


You must provide your own power or pay for power. The event organizer will not provide power.



IMPORTANT INFORMATION

**All food vendors are be required to attend a mandatory meeting in person or via zoom in order to participate in Taco Fest. This meeting will go over the do's and don't for the event. If you do not attend this meeting, you will not be allow to participate. **


**You will be notified regarding the status of your application. If your application is accepted, payment will be expected at that time. Payment must be made in advance or you will not be allowed to load in.**


**ALL FOOD TRUCKS/TRAILERS MUST have a Fire Prevention inspection done on them. You will need this before they will issue a City Of Birmingham License. Call Fire Prevention at (205) 250-7540 to set up your inspection.**


**FOOD TRUCKS/TRAILERS MUST BE LICENSED WITH THE CITY OF BIRMINGHAM! They will only issue rare special event licenses to food truck/trailers. Email Emily if you have any questions about this.**


**ALL VENDORS must pay event taxes to the City of Birmingham and Jefferson County at the end of the event even if they pay taxes online monthly.**

The Length of your truck/trailer that is from end to end, including the tongue of the trailer all the way to the attached propane tank if applicable. Please write NA if you are freestanding.

If you are freestanding, you must provide a flame-retardant 10'x10' tent. We can provide you one for an additional $300.00. You must provide your own serving equipment and power will NOT be provided unless you pay for it. Do you agree to these terms if they apply to you?

Tent vendor will be issued a temporary City of Birmingham Business License for $150 the week of the event. Barehand will handle this for the tent vendors. All trucks/trailers must have annual licenses with the city, only issue rare temporary special event license will be give to trucks/trailers. Email us at tacofest@goproeventsolutions.com for more information.


All employees must have a current Food Handlers Card.

Taco Fest is produced by Bare Hands, Inc., a non-profit arts organization. The festival itself seeks to build community through arts & culture. Bare Hands attempts to keep the event affordable for all. Food vendors are encouraged to keep their prices affordable, as well. PLEASE CHECK “YES” IF YOU AGREE WITH THE PURPOSE AND SCOPE.

I understand that I am required to leave my designated vendor spot at the festival clean with trash dispensed in designated areas and no grease stains left on the festival grounds. Failure to do so may result in you not getting your cleaning fee of $200 back. PLEASE CHECK “YES” IF YOU AGREE WITH THE AGREEMENT OF CLEAN-UP.

Drink Fee is $150


Buffalo Rock / Pepsi is the Official Beverage & Water Sponsor. You may sell ONLY Buffalo Rock products with your menu items if you choose to sell soft drinks and water.


I understand and agree that as a food/ taco vendor at Taco Fest, I will ONLY be allowed to sell Pepsi (Buffalo Rock) products. If any other products are brought onto the site and sold, I understand I will be closed down as a participating vendor.
