Presentation Guidelines

Laptops and Presentation Slides*

ACHA will be providing laptops in each breakout room. At the end of April, ACHA will send you instructions for submitting your slides/presentations through our Speaker Ready Room portal. You will have access to a Speaker Ready Room on-site and can make changes to your presentation up until the start of your session.

When you arrive to your session room, your slides will be loaded onto the laptop and ready for your presentation. There will also be AV techs in the area to field any last-minute questions or assist with any technical errors.

ACHA will make digital copies of slides available to meeting attendees through the conference mobile app during the meeting and for two months afterward. If you do not grant permission for ACHA to make your slides available, indicate that in the Comments field below. It is very important that you submit your slides through the Speaker Ready Room portal when requested. If you have comments or concerns, please indicate them in the Comments field below.

The following are required by presenters if AI is utilized to assist in creating their presentation.

  1. Human review and insight. While AI can assist, it may not compose the program. The primary responsibility for program creation should remain with human experts.
  2. Quality Control. Presenters must ensure AI created content is accurate and reliable.
  3. Disclosure to learners. Disclosure of the use of AI is required and should include:
  • the author of the model and tool name/version of the AI application and the date the application was used.
  • a description of how the AI was used, such as to generate ideas, summarize text, or provide initial drafts.
  • emphasis on human involvement, such as stating that the presenter reviewed and edited the AI-generated content to ensure its quality and accuracy.

Examples:

  • The initial analysis of the survey data was facilitated using AI [Open AI, GPT-4, April 2, 2025] to identify key themes; however, all interpretations and conclusions were made by the speaker after careful review of the results.
  • This presentation utilized AI [Meta, Llama 2, March 14, 2025] to generate ideas and structure for certain slides; all content was reviewed and edited by the presenter for accuracy.

By checking the box below, I attest that I agree to adhere to the AI requirements above.

By typing my name below, I understand that I will not be able to order additional equipment on-site at the meeting and that I will be asked to provide my slides in advance of the meeting.
