The Nursing Home Worker Safety Curriculum and Training program will give you the information you need to prevent infection, improve worker and resident safety, increase workplace confidence, and improve on-the-job satisfaction.


You will receive comprehensive training to deepen your knowledge in protecting yourself and your residents and identifying and reporting unsafe conditions.


Individual responses will be kept private and will not be shared independently. Data could be shared in a summarized format.

Missouri Works Initiative (MWI) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization sponsored and supported by the American Federation of Labor-Congress of Industrial Organizations of Missouri (AFL-CIO MO). MWI strategically delivers programming that addresses the state’s changing workforce needs.


The Helen Miller SEIU Member and Education Training Center (METC), founded in 2007, is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to providing education and training to workers represented by members of SEIU HCIIMK. METC provides high-quality training experience to thousands of low-wage workers, enhancing their on-the-job experience and supporting their career development.


Service Employee International Union Healthcare Missouri is part of SEIU Health Care Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, and Kansas (HCIIMK), a union of over 95,000 healthcare and childcare workers throughout four states. SEIU HCIIMK represents essential workers across Missouri and Kansas, including 4,000 home care, nursing home, and hospital workers who are housekeepers, dietary workers, laundry aides, Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs), and other technical, professional, and service workers in healthcare settings.
