Upload your PDF file(s) using this naming convention: “Plan.pdf” – a file that includes a general location map and drawings showing the location of both the proposed utility work and existing utilities. The proposed utility work being permitted must be color coded/highlighted using BLUE for drinking water, GREEN for wastewater, PURPLE for reuse water, and RED for dedicated fire lines downstream of a fire backflow preventer. If you are uploading files associated with a Utility Permit revision, the “Plan.pdf” file should include only the revised sheet(s). The above referenced color coding/highlighting must be followed and the revisions must be clouded in RED. “Supplemental.pdf” – an optional file that includes any supplemental information needed to support your application. Items that could be included in this file are Calculations (e.g. grease trap, lift station calculations, etc.), photographs, specifications, etc.
