Who can attend this course? Physical Therapists seeking to become certified in dry needling. All participants must have at least 6 months of experience as a licensed physical therapist by the first day of the live course.

Prior to starting this form: Complete your UNM Tuition Remission paperwork, remember proper signatures are REQUIRED (https://app.box.com/file/797023179707?s=u9389zmisaw0dugxyfla4x3ygqy2zavs), complete your UNM PR and make a copy of your check, you will be required to upload a copy of these documents at the end of this form.

Course Information: The UNM Myofascial Institute, in conjunction with the UNM Division of Physical Therapy, will provide a dry needling certification course for any physical therapist interested in becoming certified in dry needling. This is a two-day certification course that includes all the knowledge and hands-on skills required to effectively and immediately integrate dry needling into clinical practice. Participants will be required to complete educational modules prior to the hands-on portion of the course. Upon completion of this course, all requirements to dry needle in New Mexico will be met.

Registration: Minimum and maximum registration numbers have been established for this course. Advanced registration is encouraged. You should receive your confirmation letter 2-5 business days after registering. If you have not received your confirmation letter, you may contact UNM CPL at 505-272-5166 to confirm your registration. Please confirm your registration prior to making your airline reservations.

Cancellation: If you preregister and cannot attend, CPL will refund tuition, less a $40.00 administrative fee, provided it is received in writing on or before June 7, 2024. No refunds will be issued after this date or for non-attendance. Courses are subject to cancellation. In the event a course is cancelled, CPL is not responsible for any airfare, hotel or other costs incurred by participants.
