EMS Program Application

for Admissions

In order for your application to be reviewed, you will need to:

  1. Be admitted to Grayson College

Application Deadlines:

  • May 1, 2025


  • Accelerated Paramedic Program (start date, July 1, 2025; Class meets Monday-Friday from 0800-1700)
  • Shift Based Paramedic Program (starts August 18, 2025; Class meets 2-3 times a week on a rotating schedule to accommodate EMS providers working a 48/96 shift based schedule)
  • EMT Program (starts August 18, 2025; Class meets Monday-Thursday 0900-1200)


Acceptance/Denial letters will not be sent until after the application deadline. For Paramedic Program Applicants only, an entrance exam and interview will be conducted within 14 days of the application closing. The EMS program will email you a link to schedule the exam and interview after the application has been processed. For any questions, you may email EMS@grayson.edu


NOTE: Applications are not automatically "held over" from one official application filing period to the next. Students who are not selected for admission the semester for which they apply or students declining the acceptance for that semester must keep their file active by submitting updated information and return a letter of intent during the next filing period to be considered for the next admission opportunity. All inactive files will be purged.
