Lead time needed for a Digital/Social request

Below is a list of typical "digital/social" related requests marcom receives. If your request falls under any of these request types, we ask that you please try to follow the recommended lead time* when articulating a due date. (If you're looking to request a social media account, there is a link below to a separate request form.)


*Lead time is how much time in advance of a due date we need to be alerted of the request to ensure we can provide the best results. Please note that these lead times are estimates and may vary depending on work volume and printer availability.


Lead time needed for a Website request

Below is a list of typical "website" related requests marcom receives. If your request falls under any of these request types, we ask that you please try to follow the recommended lead time* when articulating a due date.


*Lead time is how much time in advance of a due date we need to be alerted of the request to ensure we can provide the best results.


  • Content Updates (factual/dates): 3-30 days (depending on extent of edits needed)
  • Existing Program/ Page Edits: updated annually (unless factual inaccuracies; see "content updates" above). CLICK HERE to submit non-urgent academic web page edits for June-Aug publishing on web.
  • Faculty Profile and/or directory updates: updated annually between Aug-Sept; new profiles added at the start of each semester. CLICK HERE to submit profile updates.
  • Job Posting on Website: 3-5 days
  • Marketing Landing Page: 3+ months
  • New Program Page: 6-8 months
  • New/Update to Event Entry: 2 days

Lead time needed for a Communication request

Below is a list of typical "Communication" related requests marcom receives. If your request falls under any of these request types, we ask that you please try to follow the recommended lead time* when selecting a due date at the bottom of this form.

  • Alumni Magazine Article: 6 months
  • Annual Report Article: 6 months
  • Web Article: 1-3 weeks
  • Public Relations/Media Outreach: 1 month
  • Strategic Communications and Messaging: 2-6 weeks

Lead time needed for a Marketing & Brand Strategy request

Below is a list of typical "Marketing & Brand Strategy" related requests marcom receives. If your request falls under any of these request types, we ask that you please try to follow the recommended lead time* when selecting a due date at the bottom of this form.


*Lead time is how much time in advance of a due date we need to be alerted of the request to ensure we can provide the best results.


  • General Promotion: 8-12 weeks
  • Marketing Swag: 6-8 weeks
  • New Programs: 6-8+ months
  • New Templates: 4-6 weeks
  • Program Recruitment: 2-4 months

Lead time needed for a Creative request

Below is a list of typical "Creative" related requests marcom receives. If your request falls under any of these request types, we ask that you please try to follow the recommended lead time* when selecting a due date at the bottom of this form.


*Lead time is how much time in advance of a due date we need to be alerted of the request to ensure we can provide the best results.


  • Ad/Branded Asset(s) (for event program, sponsorship, etc): 3 weeks
  • Brochure/Event Program: 4-6 weeks
  • Invitation/Postcard: 3 months
  • Photography: 1 month (depending on use case and timeline, photographer assigned will either be internal (marcom), a student, or an external photographer which would be at the expense of the requesting department/division)
  • Recruitment Materials: 1-2 months
  • Videography (live/recorded): 1 month

If this request is for printed collateral (flyer, postcard, brochure, etc) or creative designs for an advertisement, please provide the dimensions/specs below if you have them.

Requests to update existing digital and printed materials will also include a design refresh to reflect the new brand elements.


Even if you have minor copy edits, if there have not been creative updates made since the 2022 brand launch, additional lead time will be accounted for for creative alignment.
