ARA relies on its committee members to bring their varied industry expertise to the table to steer ARA public policy priorities, member services, content for the annual conference, and more in the direction that benefits the ag retail industry most.

All ARA member representatives are invited to join the ARA Committee(s) that best fit their experience and interest. ARA Committees and their main responsibilities include:

• ARAPAC Committee overseeing contributions to and promoting ARA's Political Action Committee (PAC)
• Conference Planning Committee plans content, structure and location for the annual conference.
• Member Services Committee oversees membership retention, recruitment and services.
• Public Policy Committee develops and proposes policy priorities annually and evaluates progress toward policy goals.

ARA Working Groups (recently active):

• Climate Stewardship/Carbon Credits Working Group, the newest working group, with the goal to form policy priorities for ARA to share with lawmakers and regulators.
• Sustainability Guide Working Group advises voluntary Best Management Practices for retailers applying crop input materials.
